Eighth Topic: New Question about commic books

Hi, there - I now post a new question because the previous question is a bit inappropriate to be answered here. My new question is about comic books. Do you remember I sang 'eunhacheoldo 999'? I'm a fan of mabeocheonjamun these days. Do you have your favorite one?

My question is whether you will use your current blog or you will create another blog or you will choose another communication tool after finishing this program?
I like to use my blog for communication with my students. I definitely need to learn more to add some nice pictures and to be used to using it. If I use my blog for teaching, I'll have to deleate my previous writings. If I make a new blog, I need to check two blogs (if I can make one more using a different e-mail address). Have you ever thought about using your blog for your teaching or communication purpose?

Seventh Topic: Do you think English teachers should have good grammatical knowledge on the Korean language?

I am grateful to you all for your answers to my questions. I tried to answer your questions but sometimes I failed to post my answers on some of your blogs and sometimes I was too busy to do it. However, I will put my efforts more on doing that from now on.

My seventh question is about whether we English teachers should have grammatical knowledge on our mother tongue. We know pretty much about English grammar but generally not that much about Korean grammar. I'm wondering whether you think we have to command large Korean vocabulary and use correct Korean grammar. When I listened to Heeil's translation of some excerpts from Joel's books, I was impressed by his good word choice. Have you ever studied Korean grammar since you graduated from the university?

Sixth Topic: What do you learn from your roommate?

Some of you may have already known that I often enjoy being alone. It's mainly because I want to take a rest. When I arrived on the campus on the first day, I prayed to God that I could share a small room with my roommate joyfully. He answed my prayer. I share many things with her. It's not a usual opportunity to stay in a room with not a family member. I see how she puts on her make-up, how she shows her interests, how she initiates speaking, and how she keeps silent. More specifically, I got to know some popular shampoo brands (Nandamo, Daeng-gi-meori) and when my my eyes are very dry she is the one I can borrow eye-drops. I guess you all learn something from your roommate. What are they? Please leave one or two specific examples. Have a nice weekend!

Fifth Topic: What's your favorite TV drama or book?

Do you watch Park Jeonggeum? I'm a fan of the drama. I don't know why, but I always spare time for it. So you can make sure I'm at home in front of TV at eight on Saturday and Sunday. Do you watch any TV programs these days? Do you find some time to read Korean books? If you do, please let me know the titles. I guess you're really into it. Otherwise, you won't spend time for it while you're so busy in following the tight secdule here. I might not have time to read the books now but I'd like to try them after finishing this program.

Fourth Topic: What do you say having a regular meeting after this program?

The second session of this program has half done. I feel so comfortable in our class and want to keep in touch with you all as long as possible. I'm thinking about having a regular meeting, say, every two month. We can change a meeting place every time. If we visit a city where one of our classmates lives, we can have some sightseeing, too. What's your opinion?

What is your favorite food?

Hi everyone - my third question is about your favorite food? Do you have any special food which makes you feel good, especially on a stressful day? I like jajangmyeon. I often find that people at my age or over have some memory on jajangmyeon. To me, it was a dish when I ate on the days my family moved to new places. I like sweet things. I don't like regular jajangmyeon. I like ganjajang with lots of onion. When I cook it, I add too much onion. Yakbab is my another favorite food. Although I like jajangmyeon, I often have a stomache if I have it in a restaurant. Yakbab is also sweet and oily, but I've never had any digestion problem after having it. Now I'm thinking to buy a pack of it tomorrow. I wish I had some more free time to cook these days. What is your favorite food? Do you cook your favorite food?
